On a beautiful day,

I can’t control how my eyes smile

How my heart reaches out to lend a hand

To my freedom and allow me to freshly breathe,

I believe God taught my eyes to smile this way

To allow a candela dwell in my soul’s sitting room

Give my spirit a pancake and send her singing

And like the weather, my shines don’t apologize

And this makes me think

That maybe I am the rising sun

And the truth that unveils through the loopholes

But when the night finally arrives

The spirit of my heart is lifted with life

And so I sleep peacefully.
