I collected everything I found on the beach

Sea shells, sand, leaves, stones and you

Took them home to fill my pocket of life

Away from a thousand waves’ soundscape

To build a home for my silence

And let my branches breathe,

I am a long necked bird sometimes

Searching for deeper meanings

Beneath shinny surfaces

So I could birth conclusions

Fill into my pocket of life

Through the shades of time

But if one thing is certain

I found you on the chest of the beach

On the roughest of days

And you embraced me,

Filled this emptiness of a life

And watered hope on my seeds.
