I let my thoughts on the dance floor

Rearranging joy like new pages on a bookshelf

I carved a shield out of good words so I’d breathe

Build me a moonlight, so the night too has eyes

When the day comes, we’d all be beautiful

Dressed in ourselves only

Like a wordsmith

I pick a piece from the skies

Assemble words on the playground

Watching the moonlight walk me home

As I re-raise my inner child’s old fashioned joy

I’ll leave the lights on

So everything my eyes set on would whisper

Questioning life like my father taught me to

There is an ephemeral beauty behind everyone’

These are his words, I am just the writer

So pass me one large popcorn please

Dressed in skin only’

Every human is a nut worth cracking

Worth adventuring, from ways he is dressed.
