Fashion these smiles

That bloom with no expiring thirst

Feed them, forgive them for being raw

Save one for the soul and one for the road

Patience blue like the sea

Silent laughter still on my mother’s tongue

I see them cocooning, I wait to believe them

Somethings we don’t hear but know they speak

Behind curtains, I see lights from the other side

I keep my jewels, I keep my fountains pouring

Rooted and green

One by one all the seeds I plant now fruition

It’s been a long way cascading in these waters

Do I say, at last, you’ve listened to my little heart?
